Boomercizing. . .

If you live in the San Francisco area, you are in luck. You can attend weekly exercise classes featuring music from the 1960s Hit Parade and popular dances including the Twist, the Pony, the Mashed Potato and the Cha-Cha.


Dancers in the Boomercize one-hour, low impact class can reminisce while reducing and getting in some good old-fashioned exercise -- the kind we used to do just for fun, remember?


 “I developed Boomercize as a fun, calorie-burning fitness alternative for aging Baby Boomers,” according to Marcie Judelson, who leads the Boomercize class. “But we hope to attract all ages. The music is timeless so it’s a healthy trip down Memory Lane. It’s interesting, our feet remember these tunes and that makes it fun and easy.”
