With all of the high tech gadgets and gizmos Baby Boomers have at their disposal, it should come as no surprise that these same devices may help older adults remain longer and more safely in their homes, exactly where they want to be.
According to Aging in Place News on the Internet, there are apps and programs that seniors and their caretakers can utilize to make life a lot simpler in terms of their health care and lifestyle needs, such as:
~~ Using an iPad-like device to keep track of appointments and chores that need to be done that day;
~~ Keeping track of health care information for the next visit with the doctor or possibly eliminate some doctor office visits all together.
~~ Remotely monitor patients' vital signs
